The Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) reported that the involved officers have been identified and summoned to testify. In its statement, the SSC noted that the officer seen in the video assaulting the citizen will be suspended from his duties during the investigation. The agency emphasized that it will not tolerate conduct that violates institutional principles or actions that harm citizens. Social media users condemned the use of force by the capital's police, and posts condemning the incident and expressing outrage prompted a swift response from the authorities. According to versions shared with the video, the man is a gardener who works in the area and was resting at the time of the incident.
